Sales Engineer

Kivnon designs, researches, develops, manufactures and distributes Auto Guided Vehicles (AGV´s) and systems in order to improve the productivity of internal logistics of its customers. We are now hiring a Sales Engineer that wants to be part of our company in Barbera del Valles, Spain.

Main job responsibilities:
Prospect potential professional customers, offer technical solutions according to the customer’s needs and specifications, and negotiate commercial terms of sale;
Preparation of complete technical quotation for each customer project
Be the interface between the company and its customers
Deal with commercial, technical and financial information aspects in the sales process.
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports from the assigned markets
Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements

Key requirements:
University degree with a technical background
Excellent English / Spanish language skills. We do not consider applicants without these language skills (German or another language would be a plus)
Knowledge of industrial automation
Be of a confident and assertive nature
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as analytical and summarizing skills;
Good attention to detail
Good logistic and planning skills
Computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
Positive attitude and personality that fits in our young team
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Experience in the world of logistics / automotive / AGV´s is important
Ability to travel abroad
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
Driver license

Project Manager

Kivnon, LLC’s Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing orders through the process of the quotation stage up to after sales. This process includes programming, installation/coordinating, training, and frequent contact with the customer on site. The Project Manager will implement each logistic automation project successfully with the customer. This role is the link between the customer and the internal organization.

 

The Project Manager performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

 

• Frequent and direct contact with the client
• Main contact between the customer and the internal organization
• Gathering the customer’s specifications
• Analyzing the customer’s application in order to understand how Kivnon’s products or customizations of the product will meet the customers need
• Planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects
• Carrying out the billing control
• All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Abilities:

 

• Engineering or Technical Degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the industrial sector
• PMP Certification preferred
• Experience with PLC ́s a plus
• Experience working in logistics/automotive/AGV industry highly preferred, but not required
• Confident and assertive nature with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication, analytical, summarizing, logistic and planning skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
• Ability to travel 50%

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

 

• Primary work area is a controlled office environment, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Customer facilities typically are large manufacturing or distribution plants, requiring walking for extended periods of time

• The pay range varies, depending on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with

Application Engineer

MAIN JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
Support the sales team in a technical capacity to help answer customer’s questions and provide suggestions to address a customer need.

Learns and analyzes the customer’s application and logistic work flow in detail to understand how Kivnon’s products or customizations of our product would meet their needs.
Researches component specifications design data as needed to gather information.
Has contact with the Sales Engineer to help him to prepare the written price offer for the Kivnon solutions.
Documents information about processes and products and creates standard procedures where applicable.
Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, trade shows and webinars.
Becomes the internal Kivnon voice of the customer to better understand customer’s needs.

KEY REQUERIMENTS:
University degree in Engineering, specially in Electronics.
Excellent English language skills
Computer skills ( Autocad, Excel, MS Word and others ).
Be of a confident and assertive nature.
Excellent analytical and summarizing skills.
Good logistic and planning skills.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances .
Experience in the world of logistics or automotive would be a plus.
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
